in our 141st Yankalilla Show Year

Entertainment was held throughout the day on both the shearing shed stage and the main stage (variety of live music and shearing demonstrations). Show rides and sideshow attractions, hands on animal nursery, market stalls, main hall showcasing the competitive exhibits, Aldinga and Sellicks Spinners and Knitters Shorn to Worn demonstration - fleece turned into wearable items, art pavilion, photography, show bags, plenty of food and lots more.....

The official opening was at 12 noon by our Mayor Darryl Houston.

Special Attractions for the 2023 Show included:

Fleurieu Marine Education - hands on activities to explore the marine world in the Fleurieu Environment Centre marquee.
 Circus Elements Workshops
Heritage Horse Power Demonstrations
Rockabout Climbing Wall

And some old favourites included:

Draught Horses.
Fleurieu Antique Rural Machinery Display.

Gates opened at 9am for the public. Cost $10 adult, $5 children between 5 and 15 and concession Adult, children under 5 free. Aged concession only.
