at the 137th Yankalilla Show
Entertainment was held throughout the day on both the shearing shed stage and the main stage (variety of live music and shearing demonstrations)..Show rides and sideshow attractions, camel & pony rides, hands on animal nursery, market stalls, main hall showcasing the competitive exhibits, Aldinga & Sellicks Spinners & Knitters Shorn to Worn demonstration - fleece turned into wearable items, art pavilion, photography, show bags, plenty of food and lots more.....
The official opening was at 12 noon by Wendy Hunt.
Special Attractions for the 2019 Show included:
Radicool Reptiles - hands on with our reptile friends in the Normanville Natural Resource Centre marquee.

James' Travelling Magic Show
Semi Finals of the Rich Fruit Cake and Genoa Cake Championships

Yalkin Spanish Dancing Horses.
Fleurieu Antique Rural Machinery Display.
Gates opened at 9am for the public. Cost $10 adult, $5 children between 5 and 15 and concession Adult, children under 5 free. Aged concession only.
2019 saw four rings which included Hack and Hunter, Show jumping and Encourage.
We award winners with prize ribbons and the Show Jumping had money prizes thanks to our sponsors South Coast Realty, FPAG, Acacia Ridge Stud, and SAIT. A Fancy Dress event sponsored by Fleurieu Farrier Service was held during the lunch break.

The Rural Ambassador award aims to highlight the importance of youth in rural South Australia and in particular the agricultural show movement. The award provides a great opportunity to give young people a forum to express their views through education and experience and develop closer links with the primary industries in South Australia.
